FUNNY CRAP

" Season's Greetings & Happy Holidays "

Important Announcement!

"New Corporate Policies For The Year 2006"

1. Sickness and Related Leave:
We will no longer accept a doctor's statement as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to go to work.

2. Surgery:
Operations are now banned. As long as you are an employee here, you need all your organs. You should not consider removing anything. We hired you intact. To have something removed constitutes a breach of employment.

3. Bereavement Leave:
This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made to have non-employees attend the arrangements. In rare cases, where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early, provided your share is enough to keep the job going in your absence.

4. Your Own Death:
This will be accepted as an excuse. However, we require at least two weeks notice as it is your duty to train your replacement.

5. Restroom Use:
Entirely too much time is being spent in the restrooms. In the future, we will follow the practice of going in alphabetical order. For instance, those whose last names begin with the letter "A" will go from 8:00 to 8:10 after which, employees whose last names begin with "B" will go from 8:10 to 8:20 and so on. If you are unable to go at your own time, it will be necessary to wait until the next day when your time comes again. In extreme emergencies employees may swap their time with a co-worker. Both employees' supervisors, in writing must approve this exchange. In addition, there is now a strict 3-minute time limit in the stalls. At the end of the three minutes, an alarm bell will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the toilet seat will eject and the toilet stall door will open.

6. Paycheck Guide:

Now to continue on...dusting furnitures, mildeeeww, HBP Pills, Cumin seasoning, Fruit Cakes, granitas, gelatos, mexican pizzas, moussakas (lol), eggnogs & buttermilk, cheap wine, Domineering Bosses, rumor mongers, nosy people & looky-loos, rude & aggressive drivers, Traffic jams, Onions, Hot Chili Peppers, acid laden foods , tight clothes, margarine, Noontimes, laundry, Bright Lights when I have a massive Migraine, CarWashing, Kissing (ugh!), Violence, unwanted guests & visitors, In-Laws (lol), April Fools Day, stalkers & losers (yeah, u know who you are...lol), pampered/spoiled brats, stinky diapies, peepots, public restrooms (like as if that's not bad enough, there's also no clean toilet paper & toilet seat cover sheets in them to boot!), bed wetters, butt cracks on old plumbers not unless the work is free of charge (lol), Static Electricity (omg, I really hate that too, don'cha?)... but speaking of Static Charges on skin contact caused by the dry & cold weather changes & other atmospheric air movements & such...here's a Public Service to that effect: Attn: All Motorists...you really have to watch out for those static skin charges specially when you are putting gas in your car at the gas stations...they could just spark unpredictably on your skin to light you up & your car on fire because of accidental contact of the gas fumes on your skin with close proximity to the metals you are touching on your car with your hands, that's a deadly combo...IT'S TRUE! i heard it on the News not too long ago... and since i am very prone to these skin static sparks myself...i always make sure i rub thick lotions on my hands before going out...or wear some gloves...and lastly to avoid contact with metal objects with your bare hands when you're near fumes or other flamable substances specially in the gasoline stations!......Which reminds me that i also hate these things......Hair sprays, long hooker fingernails with their matching hooker nail art (yech!), Gyms, swimming pools, cold bathrooms, shorty-shorts, neighborhood block parties, swingers, nude beaches, Holidays (just a tad bit only if i am not in the best of moods), Hummers1, 2 & 3 and other unecessary gas guzzlers within city limits, Buffet lines (or any kind of lines for that matter), Department store sales, lost-leader discounts & false/misleading sales adverts., Casino gambling, motor vehicle departments, intense bright sun with no clouds in the sky, vespas or those tiny little d_mn motorbikes on the freeways, summers (hot, dry, arid), wet socks, wet dogs, raincoats, deep dark bodies of water, grafitti, wilted plants & flowers, rotting fruits, Housework chores (lol), ironing, lottery tickets, gin, hats, scarves, hallmark products, cheesecakes, muffins, pancakes, waffles, IHOP(s), biscuits & gravy, brown or white gravies (ugh!), lobster & lobster bisques, thick chunky soups, limes, greek food, mexican foods & seasonings, rude waiters & shop keepers, Vomiting...might as well type that in here because i often throw-up if the foods or beverages doesn't agree with my stomach & tastebuds, hence my over the counter anti-acid meds. addiction, people that spit in public places, hooters & hecklers, chalk dust, hard as a rock frozen treats, boat cruises, pimples (zits), dandruff, skin allergies, knitting, the color yellow & rust, burnt bacon strips, soft cooked eggs (gross), prison institutions & hardcore criminals, grassweeds on my lawn, pruning, bird droppings, constipation, the runs, asthmas, hospital visitations, festival seatings, rowdy audience, dry dirt, all-time american Country music, people who blatantly won't pay their taxes honestly and on time, clueless individuals (and believe you me, there's a wide array of these out there), bad ill-fitting footwear, underoos & socks with holes, Filipinos who insists on speaking English when being spoken Tagalog to, even if they know the native language well or at least a decent few words of it, and vice-versa... (info: our household is Mixed), pretentious people, visitors that come with no advance notice (not unless it's an unavoidable emergency)...let's see, mmm what else? (lol) ahh...and lastly, Proof Reading my Blogs!...(LOL).

YA' KNOW WHAT? Right about now...I should be getting ready for Christmas!!! Ma'an oh ma'an...look at these... i haven't even put up my f___ing Tree! And not to mention the f__'en X-mas lights outside the F'_ing house! I haven't bought the Gifts yet either and God help me...the Menu for my Guests...Arrrgh! I hate Holidays! (but really, not that much, i am just not in the best of moods lately, lol))...But I cannot wait till its over! I just wanna open the d_mn Gifts for me this Year! So obviously, I am clearly not prepared, huh?!......I just never learn...For Petey's Sake, what's wrong with Me!!! I always put everything Off at the last minute, then I suffer later! What in God's name is wrong with me anyhow! I hate myself...(sigh)...I will just throw cheap sugared candy canes on my tree like i did last year! Oh noo, i still have to clean this pig-sty of a house! Help Me You Lazy Bum! Now don't forget the grass garlands, the wreaths, the fresh poinsettias, shiny glittery tinsels, the frozen fruits centerpiece, the table runner, the huge pair of christmas socks, the mistletoes, (and btw, "I am not climbing back up there again in the dark Attic, i think there's a dead Owl in there!")........
And for the Guests i will definetely need these for them to use & also for those who will stay over a little longer:..........
Fuzzy slippers/linens/toilettries/pillows/blankets/hangers/room deodorizers/nite lites/wine selections...sh_t, the Garage, that has to be cleaned too! But at least i have sent out all my holidays and x-mas emails and all my "season's greetings" cards & a few other miscellaneous (gifts, bills, checks & letters) at my local post office branch........

AND ALSO IN THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS......we always try to send or give donations to the charity of our choice at least once every year, there are so many non-profit organizations where you can also voluntarily give your selfless help, goods or monetary donations and charity work to. A few of them are the following: the Homeless Shelters & Soup Kitchens, authenticated Missions for the needy and abandoned, Neglected/abused Women & Children, Medical foundations & research, poorly funded Public schools, Pet rescues, and others...You can also consult your local reliable chapters within your regions for further assistance in finding the Charities of your choice... "Charity" ---pls. don't stop spreading this good word around, Thx!

YEP, YOU GUESSED RIGHT......i am still on my shitty computer tapping my hand digits on its banged-up keyboard... u see...i am sooo stubborn LOL! Good God, is this another long compilation of my Angst & Repressed Emotions again!? Mmm I think.....YES! And Curses Too! (oh...just great, i am now getting a killer headache again when i don't need it the most!)

* AND NOW FOR THE FOLLOWING: Based entirely on a True Story:

-------" My Brief Encounter with Mr. Bugs Bunny's Family "-------

I tend to pee more during the cold weather & much less in the summer maybe because it is hotter...now why did i just wrote that?
Read on......
It made me think to myself that at this time of the year, i am able to take a sweet break from trying to get rid of some pesky darn rabbits that have called my backyard their safe fertile pastures...they had been eating some of my flowering plants during the spring and summer...i tried using cayenne pepper (people whom i know personally told me to do so) & a whole host of other kinds of grounded peppers including believe it or not, tabasco sauce & vinegar! I scattered them on top of the flowers & around it, but it didn't work! They would have made a good flower marinade for an extra-spicy summer salad but so much for those stupid advises, thanks for nothing people!...i certainly don't want to resort to a bb-gun (a little pellet shooter) either even if i am a good shot (i think), because i find it too cruel!...i won't even try a rabbit trap cage, because i think it's too troublesome...but there was a bit of good news after all, just this past fall season i was able to almost corner one of them (a matured one), it ran all over the yard. At first i tried to scare it away, instead i saw where it was coming in and out from when i gave it a short chase...as i followed it's movement by sight, i saw the hole in my backyard wall near the ground where it dug its way thru & where it goes in and out of! i immediately surveyed my backyard for any other entrance/exit rabbit holes...i only found one so far, and i am hoping that it will be the last one...so i proceeded to cover it up with dirt and rocks and stones from my garden...after which i waited...the following days seems quiet...then one afternoon i went out to my garden patio for tea & a quick puff of my menthol-lights vitamin Cs, and guess what i found?...another rabbit happily snacking away at my bell flower shrubs!...this time this particular one looked like a juvenile because it was obviously smaller...i tried to catch it but it was so skittish & too fast for me to catch, i also almost knocked down my garden birdbath in the process...so instead i took a quick glance at the hole i covered up before and just then the little juvenile rabbit made a dash for a quick getaway thru the same hole which now has a smaller dugged out opening at the bottom of it...i thought, hmm there must be a family of darn pesky rabbits around my house because i think the frustrated rabbit parents sent their baby junior to do the work for them since he can fit better in a smaller opening this time and to prevent him from starving, (i only wished my pampered cat can repay me to catch those critters, but he is like Garfield...fat, lazy & ill-tempered, he'd rather have a staring match with a mouse rather than catch and gnaw at it or give it to me as a chewed-up present buried deep inside my fuzzy slippers)...Anyhow, i didn't give up...i was up for the challenge since my flowers' lives depended on me...but this time i got reinforcements...a mini shovel, more dirt, bigger rocks, bigger pebbles & leather gloves...and this time, i covered it thicker, deeper and way much lower down under the hole until it reach the top (applying more arm muscle power to it).......Now for the Ending......i resorted to penny pinchings afterwards (actually more like whole penny savings)...rather than buying rabbit feed poison to end the infestation...what i did was, every morning when i woke up to take a pee...lol...i would catch my pee in a dixie plastic cup and pour it onto the pile of dirt & rocks which i used to cover the rabbit hole, and i did this every other morning... and vuallah!...i do believed it worked!...lol...i can only assume that those rabbits have very sensitive noses... and i am only hoping my neighbors aren't wondering what yellow liquid from a plastic cup i was pouring out there every morning under the corner of my wall fence, i might just let them think it's liquid sulphate fertilizer for a very rare crab grass weed. Since i haven't really researched on the internet yet on how to properly get rid of them backyard critters, that would have been my next move just in case the pee idea don't work...so far, no sign of any backyard critters up to now or maybe they're hibernating (i dunno) and come to think of it, no sign of any pesky critters at all either in my back of the yard LOL! wow, i didn't know that urine can be a good pest repellent and at no cost to anyone, well except for your bladder's supply and the ocassional whiff LOL...i am just hoping that my method worked and i think it's also an eco/creature friendly approach because i don't think it really would hurt anything or anyone but only to make the rabbits leave & find other safer sweeter smelling pastures outside of my property instead...but i do have a hunch that those rabbits have moved since then to my neighbor's property...but don't tell that to anybody...i would certainly hate to dispense my recent discovered method while turning beet red on the face coupled with my neighbor's look of total disgust...lol! I am also hoping that the rabbit family won't try and get even with me by digging under the foundation of my house next time because my new method won't agree with our household members...lol or i will just have to give Mr. Christopher Walken a quick service house call to hunt them all down...(from the movie: "Mouse Hunt" ...it's almost the same as catching wild rabbits LOL).
PS. we don't eat lambchops, boar, goat, venison or mutton...certainly rabbits aren't in the menu either!... but there will always be room for turkey, chicken, duck & ham...mmm yum!

* THERE IS also a very Valuable Information in that Bunny Story of mine, which i just thought of adding in here...that lesson is...lol, you ready for this?...ok, here it is: "When in doubt, don't hesitate to use a sprinkle or, use a dab or 2 (or more depending on the strenght needed according to the endurance of your own personal life pests) the usage of your very own extra strenght body waste Anti-Pheromone Signature Scent to distract and repel (I repeat) to Distract and Repel Unsolicited & Unwanted Attention"...
Plus, you can also use them safely for pesky & persistent flower-munching Rabbits...LOL!

AND YET MORE additional Infos here: (only this time there are no rabbits involved lol)......
I remembered that I once buried a dead Sparrow bird under my Blue bell shrub in the Backyard...i saw the the poor thing one sunny morning...lifeless on the garden lawn... its limp fresh carcass with eyes tightly shut... slightly rigor mortis i remembered...yet i still tried my best to revive the poor little creature's life somehow by putting him on my warm kitchen counter over a perforated plastic baggy with soft cotton rolls...but alas, no luck...too bad i thought for the little guy...it surely looks dead and had passed on to better greener pastures with its long lost friends......so then days after that quiet solemn burial rights which i gave it (sadly with no attendees in that backyard bird funeral but only me) days went by and i slowly forgot about it's passing away......but on a brighter positive side of it, that Blue bell shrub where i buried the bird in is doing very well!... (sigh)...so as usual, I pondered head-on saying to myself...Well, isn't that a lot like Life? Always so cruel, unfair & unpredictable...and yet even on certain unexpected times, which is very seldom, it's able to do an act of Kindness in return on the same dreadful circumstancial ocassion?...(triple sighs)......Or maybe, it was just that additional little organic plant food under the Blue bells (at no cost to me) that got to my head in that instance...lol.

MY LAST THOUGHTS ON THIS......"Sorry Mr. Bunny Rabbit! I am not the Alice in your Wonderland, and I do plan to be always late for the Tea Parties that you still might invite me to...But in a much better light of things, aren't you at least better well off at the thought that i wasn't any of these characters instead?
Namely the ff: Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck,
and The Mad Hatter.

Abeedee, Abeedee...that's all (for now) Folks!...LQoQL...

"My Personal Account & Commentaries On The 2006 (78th) Annual Academy Awards Night Gala Show"

*** Yes, I did watch the Oscar's 78th Awards Ceremony! First off, i had been to the "Kodak Theatre" in Los Angeles, CA. a year ago to see a concert performance with friends. I was impressed by this newly built building and its interior designs & architectural modernism but not more than that. I thought, it could have been more impressive and outstanding or bigger in comparison to how Hollywood films dish out in terms of some of their big-budget features or how much monetary spendings they lavishly allow some of their movies to dispense of. But otherwise, i thought it wasn't that bad either. You can also see the "Hollywood Sign" up on the side of the Hollywood Hills from the Theater's outdoor balconies on a clear day as an extra treat (if LA isn't clad in smog). The old "El Capitan" movie house in full display adorned with multi-colored neon lights at night is also an added touch quintessential to the by-gone splendour of vintaged american theater scenery......So anyhoo, let's just move on to my Oscars recap summary......
*** I was pleased with the way Jon Stewart dapperly hosted the show but not as amused and entertained if it was presented by let's say, Mr. Billy Crystal & the likes of more seasoned hosts (referring to past Oscar Ceremonies). The side remark he made about Jews' impatience as to awaiting what might happen next, might be easily accepted as a light passing joke on his TV program "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" but is obviously thinly veiled in passing to be a humorous matter in the Oscars . Since the theme of this year's Big Show from the Academy of the Stars & Films gave me the awareness of such sensitive issues like Political Upheavals, Racism, Terrorism & Homosexuality in our societies not just within our homeland but also about other important political issues in the other countries of the world, by taking all that into account, it is but expected that the evening echoed a chant of seriousness in its entirety...Occasionally and thankfully, not everything in Hollywood should revolve and be seen with eyes looking thru false colored lenses of glamor and overly publicized star-studded glitteramas. Having written that, it makes me feel that Films of this generation have evolved and matured slow by gradually achieving the tackling of extra-sensitive issues that demands it's long awaited attention and study now and hopefully more in the future. Much like what Mr. George Clooney had to say in effect that it makes one feel proud to belong to such an Academy in moments of achievements like these from the Film Making Industry. (But honestly, must some of these already financially endowed celebrities along with their entourages be unecessarily lavished with extravagant gift packages, over-the-top exclusive parties & overly expensive deluxe vacation trips that they can certainly all do without?...triple sighs).
*** On the lighter side of things, Ben Stiller's lame attempts to entertain the audience at the early part of the show only dismissed himself as a stupid dumb-ass joke by simply & foolishly donning a milky-green unitard used for special film effects that Sonny of the "I, Robot" sci-fi movie fame released in 2004 would have been a much better presenter in a pistachio colored tin can robo gear.
*** Salma Hayek was as usual strikingly poised as a voluptous temptress on the screen monitors and you can just tell she is making-out with the cameras for all the men to drool by during the show's long program stretch.
*** Jennifer Garner gave me the worries. Need i say that, less higher shoe heels or slip-proof soled evening sandals will keep young mommy (with brand new baby at home) intact, safe and accident-free during the event? (Incidentally, congratulations on the latest addition to the GarFleck combo!) Her spontaneous & funny "side stunt crack" from her short speech did little assurance to what might have happened if...she did fall instead!
*** Multi-talented George Clooney was and seems to be always in a classy fit of forms from head to toe down to his award acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actor in "Syriana". Humble yet very much maturedly outspoken and in touch with the most hot current issues of this past few years while indeed very dapper & handsome in his chosen evening attire.
*** Jessica Alba is a dazzling young jewel in her golden gown ensemble but did me little in the impressive ratings. She seems quite old looking for her age. On the side, i deem it very necessary to say at this very moment to kindly take it easy on these regimens already, said items like: Bronzers/Natural Sun/Day-GloTanners, etc...(e.g. J.Lo, C. Theron & Co.)
*** Rachel Weisz, oh yeah, i love this lady. From her english accent all the way to her acting prowess, she was and still is one of my favorite strong actresses that i do admire. To have nabbed an award of Best Supporting Actress that she greatly deserves in the "Constant Gardener", it's about the perfect sweet time that she did and adding to the fact that she will be a very expectant soon-to-be mother in waiting.
*** Eric Bana of "Munich", "Troy", & "Hulk" gave us the image that at certain times small guys do win our attention in a huge crowd of who's-who. He was sparkling and candidly beaming of appreciation.
*** Terence Howard from "Crash", "Hustle & Flow" & "Get Rich or Die Tryin" gave us a dish to feast our eyes on beginning with his calm & collected swagger down to his clean cut threads adorned with that extra bling on his suit lapel which he successfully sported with quiet inner confidence.
*** Chris Bridges (Ludacris) was so cool in his well spoken speech moment in introducing the musical skillz number from "Hustle & Flow". I think he is also quite adorable & cute in his rich black velvety and surprisingly trendy suit match-up.
*** Keira Kneightly had me astounded by the eyes. She was well put together in her choice of gown, hair and jewel accessories. Flowingly graceful and gorgeous from her hairstyle down to her shoes.
*** I wasn't impressed by Charlize Theron's architecturally tailored dark evening wear with a matching ginormous one-sided shoulder bow that would only have registered as a turn-on in the eyes of that monst(e)rous gargantuan ape celebrity, aptly named "KingKong". Her over-all evening duds might work for her "Aeon Flux" slick & stiff environment but not in the Oscars.
*** Naomi Watts' onion skin shredded fabric frock was shamelessly & blatantly sounding off her cries & fears from her first few nights out with the king of all hairy beasts (again) KingKong! What a waste of a refreshing beauty who seemed to be all lost in a garish itchy texture of an accoutrement, not to mention that pale choice of fabric color tone that does nothing more but emphasize her already pallid somber appearance.
*** Reese Witherspoon taking home the Best Actress Award placed a sugary smile on my face. As candy-sweet as she was in "Legally Blonde" her spoken words on the stage podium can shame a bear cub on a honey overdose. Atta all-american spirit, girl! and "Walk The Line" with pride!
*** Philip Seymour Hoffman winning the Best Actor Award did not surprise me one bit. I already knew weeks ago that he will grab this title. Being "Capote" was all he needed to prove his talent and determination to earn his proper rights of recognition in the Oscar Film Academy and perhaps more in the coming years.
*** "Crash" gaining its much deserving award for the Best Film of this Year which I considered to be a No-Brainer in the first place, yet numerous people in the crowd found themselves surprised at the fact that "Brokeback Mountain" which is based on a well-written & controversial novel didn't get the title instead. All i can say to this is, not the fact that someone in the Oscar presentation commented: Well, who isn't in the movie Crash? but instead I thought: Why isn't there a homosexuality plot involved in it too? Imagine how much more diverse and nearly perfect the film would have been! But I do agree, it surely deserves to be the Best Movie of this Year. I remember cringing a lot while watching this film as it presented to me the ever-present yet under-talked issues of color, class statuses & realistic human societal challenges and difficulties that people go thru in most of their daily lives. It makes you and I grateful for being spared the experiences of other unfortunate individuals who have had no choice but to play a mean & endless game of concrete jungle self-preservation, moral & civil equal rights, hypocrisy & deception, territorialism & dominance and of prejudices & resentments.
*** One of the predominating soundtracks from the film "Crash" entitled "In the Deep" (Bird York) was by far a very well performed & composed musical melody rendition integral to the Oscar event presentation.
*** On the other hand, the informal musical number from the Three6Mafia's interpretation of "It's Hard Out There For A Pimp" (lifted from the movie "Hustle & Flow") presented to be the most lively, hip & daring attitude representation of the show, only to be followed closely by the lengthy hyper exchange of conversational dialogues & wordplay by actresses Lily Tomlin & Meryl Streep, which in turn sounded like it was haphazardly scripted by a rabid kangaroo on uppers. But it did take the edge off the night's prolonged downbeaten feel on which host Mr. Jon Stewart could barely fill in with tiny pot shots of witty topics.
*** A much long awaited accolade for ground-breaking Chinese director Ang Lee of "Brokeback Mountain" has finally arrived. Nabbing the Best Film Direction Award for the year certainly gained the Chinese community a bigger respect within the film-making sectors.
*** Michelle Williams looked so fresh, innocent & bright in her chosen sunny squash-yellow & blossom of a dress gown. It complemented her glow of youth & success even more.
*** J.Lo looks semi-stunning in her perfect coiffure exhibiting a green avocado hue inspired gown adaptable enough for either daytime or nightime gala wear affairs. But then again on the contrary, hint on the "go-easy-on-the-tanning-treatments" method!
*** Aside from the noticeable deep rich vegetable salads & dark chocolates preferential bold shades of color in this season's designer garbs by world class leaders in haute couture fashion trends which were paraded by a few daring popular ladies of the night's attendees, the "hands-tuck-inside" of sewn in pockets stylings of certain long formal wears (for example, as displayed by Amy Adams' chosen formal gown on the Red Carpet catwalk) brings back the smart first impression achieved look effect which were clearly reminiscent & retrospective of former female Hollywood stars' fashion dictates of the 1940's... In short, really-really "Old School" vogue!
*** I was glad that the "March of the Penguins" and "Wallace & Gromit's: Curse of the Were-Rabbit" films procured their respective honors in the midst of this Ceremony's domineering prevalence of realistic & current public hot-button issues. I loved the guys behind the scenes who accepted their rewards while holding & smooching their cuddly big stuffed penguin mascots in their arms which were also coincidentally tuxedoed up like they were.
*** Dolly Parton, well what can I say...she still is the Dolly Parton of Dollywood, all shimmery in her peaches and cream facade & aura while giving the audience a lighthearted singing routine that puts a temporary look of glee in almost everyone's face.
*** Jake Gyllenhaal might not register as handsome & debonaire to some audience at first glance, but if you look beyond that shallow facade of superficial endowments and look closer and deeper into his eyes & in the way he emotes his serious acting abilities, you might just behold the young man's versatile capacity for emotionally down-to-earth roles that he intensely projects so well in his talent in acting on the big screen.
*** Lauren Hutton absolutely just looks ridiculous in that tribal-ish inspired mix-'n-match that would have mildly lessened its absurdity if she would have forgone with the purse-like kitchy accessory that seems to be lamely hiding some unmentionable part of her lower half from being exposed to the media papparazzi. To put it calmly or at best said plainly in the caliber of fashion critic/interviewer Isaac Mizrahi, "ooh, it is sooo definitely not working for her!"
*** On the off-hand, I knew i couldn't resist the temptation of posting an entry about this much-awaited event however I could. I also know that some might or might not agree with my opinions but like they say, to each their own. But since I find it virtually impossible to fit in every little detail & dissections of this Glammed Event in writing, I would have to end it here in my following last two paragraphs right about now...
*** On that note, to finish off these adulations and/or tirades & quibbles of my personal accounts, observations and commentaries about this year's Oscars, I am leaving you with these...Did you noticed just what on earth was going on with John Travolta's do? Oh well, at least i feel appeased knowing that his hair will grow back in due time to make him realize not to sport that tennis-ball-like hairstyle ever again!
*** Additionally, pertaining to our well-reknowned & visually pioneering director but fashion impaired & clueless Mr. Tim Burton in his usual failed attempts on his garments of choice, hmm...I guess i just have to concur that at least some celebs don't have to fret too much about fashion because working behind the scenes in movie-making requires dedication with fully-engrossed & involved minds, of which i am pretty sure that they have enough to think of and contend with other than looking superficially fantastic or currently fashionably in the know... Although i only wish i could say the same thing for Ms. Helena Bonham Carter, since I can only guess what her major excuse was for that night.
